For both: Protagonist time travels back in time to an all-female Sengoku Era filled with busty babes and moe-blob. Now they get wrapped up in the warring states with battles amongst the typical Sengoku leaders.

Similarities: Both have the same characters who are the female version of historical figures from the Sengoku era. Both have the same main characters who found themselves in a parallel Sengoku period. Both have the same historical, action and comedy genre. Both have an eechi element in it. Both main characters are of school age individuals. Dissimilarities: In one anime the main character is a boy who uses his wits to either survive or to get around the parallel era he is in, while the other is a girl who is a bimbo and relies on her luck (too much) to get around her predicament. Time travel? Oh it's there. In both series, that's one of the themes along with action, drama, and comedy. In both series, there is fan-service present that are often mixed in with comedy and action. And of course, historical themes comes into play as well with the backgrounds. Both series' main protagonists has an amusing personality that is outgoing but at times lacks the initiative to do things. Both series' supporting characters all have techniques in martial arts and swordsmanship.

Both feature a main character who suddenly time travels back to the Sengoku Period of Japan and takes the place of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Both animes are incredibly alike as they both are about the MC helping Oda Nobunaga conquer Japan. However the main differences between these two animes are the main goals. In Oda Nobuna no Yabou, the goal is to help Nobuna conquer Japan. While in Sengoku Otome, it's to get all the pieces to a red armor set that's said to give the wear the power to conquer all of Japan. The other differences are that in Sengoku Otome, there are lots of   read more
