There's a similar feeling I get from Tamayura and Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou. For starters, they both take place in a quiet town with a small yet colorful cast of characters. They live life in simplicity although sometimes run into common everyday troubles. But nonetheless, the characters seize every moment to capture memories and make the most of it from the relationships they develop. There is decent amount of comedy and slice of life feeling coming from both series. If you're into a show with a simple and light toned story, give both of these a try.
