Both animes have characters that have to take care of a child. They also both fall in love as well~
Both anime revolves around teenagers having to take care of a child. Characters slowly learn and become more capable of taking care of a child whether it's human or alien. Along the way they also learn some life lessons that change their way of thinking about some things.
