These are both rather happy anime that center around self growth in the MC, in Aishiteruze Baby the main character learns responsibility as he goes through many situations while raising his much younger cousin while in Nodame Cantabile she learns about truly understanding a piece of music and the joy it can bring to truly practice with the intent to get better. The key similarity however is the overflowing happiness both bring out, with a slight bit of romance on the side, In Aishiteruze Baby this is a bit more obvious and upfront while in Nodame Cantabile it is much more subtle.
