Both involve story lines where two guys take care of young girl/girls while juggling their love lives.
The duty of taking care of another child/children becomes a prominent theme in both series.
Also, there is light toned comedy, slight romance (more so in Aishiteruze Baby), and drama. But most importantly, it is about responsibility in both series where the main character becomes something he never thought he'd become.
Heartwarming series that's a must-see.
