How can Nichijou not be on the recommendations for this.
It posses a similar tone with short "stories" around random topics related to the main cast.
Even the top notch quality on animation and originality that Poputepipikku has is similar to that of Nichijou. (Even tough I've noticed that Poputepipikku uses mostly CG on their action shots, or to add more detail to the action made. Both are similar in that they are comedic series with outrageous skits and characters. Nichijou feels more refined as it has some semblance of story/recurring characters where Poputepipikku is just 100% short hilarious gags.
Pop Team Epic is basically Nichijou on 17 different kinds of drugs.

These two series are comedies with crazy non-sequitur that you probably won't see coming. They are both hilarious largely because of this.

Absolute nonsense; absurdist humor for those with a refined taste for stupidly incoherent and chaotic comedy that will either make you laugh until you choke, or want to turn the screen off and reconsider what are you doing with your life. Either way, Poputepipikku and Nichijou are worth watching if you're willing to sacrifice whatever neurons you still may have left.

Pop team epic and nichijou both exaggerate things by a lot
They are both parodies of their respective genres although pop team epic takes it to the next level
The art style changes a lot and is kind of like a big combination of different stories, similar to the slice of life aspect of nichijou
