Even if Nichijou is kind of more exaggerated, Tanaka-kun has a similiar atmosphere thanks to its color palette, simple character designs and the fact that it consists on comedic sketches, which tend to revolve around a particular theme or thing happening.

They are comedy and slice of life and have easy character design and color is very normal but beautiful.
TIK is a more sedentary Nichijou. Both are slice-of-life animes in which the plot from episode to episode has only mild importance. Both are fun and easy to watch with pleasant art styles and very little ecchi. Tanaka and Ohta, the male leads of TIK, would fit into Nichjou's character lineup very well with their ridiculous relationship. If you've finished Nichijou and are looking for more quirky light comedy, Tanaka might be who you're looking for.
