Men in both Tv shows are thrust into looking after a girl.
Both are wholesome.
Both men are starting to take into account the perspective of a parental figure, and weighing their actions by putting the child first and as to not make a wrong impression.
Usagi Art style is a little bit different but it is a good way.
Usagi has a story plot where each episode is growing from previous, While Kumicho is more of one situation episode.
Usagi is more mature.
The idea is pretty simular - small girl suddenly comes under a care of alone-living man. Not even the idea, but even the show - smiles, tears, adventures, worries, contacts with true parents, helping mates... all just looks like born from one source. But its not bad, because the main thing, thing you will like for sure, is the relations of The Man and The Little Girls, their nature and characters.
