As much as these shows could be considered very different from each other, they have similar themes of family and parenting. While Dragon Maid has a more laidback approach to these topics, not going too deep into family issues or the complexities of raising a child, Usagi Drop explores them with a grain of realism. Also expect from these shows many cute, funny and some heartwarming moments.
