Anime about children who have just lost their parents being taken in by a relative who has no experience parenting. Both focus on the parent/child relationship and both have some great comedy as well as serious moments. Now tbh this review goes mostly one way as Shounen Maid appeals to a much smaller amount of people. Usagi Drop beats it in almost every aspect but nevertheless Shounen Maid is an enjoyable and very quirky anime, I'd urge you to give the first ep a go if you're put off by the title/synopsis and see what you think. Similar setting, but different feels
Both has an uwanted child without parents and it's really interesting see how they are different, even if they came from the "same" start
