A supernatural tale that takes place in summer. Asatte no houkou is less deep, but gives you a lesson about true friendship, just like in Air.
Tbh, these two series has a very similar feeling to them.
Both Air and Asatte No Houkou are lighthearted that has a dominant female cast in the series. But more than that, there is also emotions, comedy, drama, and bits of supernatural elements added in.
Both series also has a similar setting by a seaset town and a general melancholy like rhythm to them.
Living for the Day After Tomorrow and Air are two supernatural slice of life dramas set in the summertime. Want some summer vibes without having to go outside? Check either of them out as there are lots of soothing visuals and plenty of scenic beach/nature backgrounds for your eyes to feast on. The character designs are also somewhat similar to each other in how they're presented, and even the MCs are very similarly cute girls. Air is way more comedic, dramatic, and faster-paced at the same time, though.
