then, the plot about a girl waiting until the guy gets his wits together and finally decides to save her/not save her. There is no fantasy in Kimi ga Nozomu and the urge to slap the main protagonist is 100x higher. But if you like drama-slice-of-life stories that make you cry then you will like to watch both. Watch Air even if you don't particulary like that genre cause it's worth it. (ok, so i am biased...^^)
These shows really dig into your emotions. They have so much sadness, but end up somewhat joyful if you really look at it. They each have tragic parts that end up fatal. Air is a story, though about a girl wanting to fly, and when she dreams, she does.
