Both about a girl who's life isn't the greatest, but they don't seem to be sad.
Despite its sweetness and comedic aspects, Fruits Basket contained many melancholy moments -- and Air TV is much the same. Add to the fact that both series contain unexpected supernatural aspects, and I can guarantee that viewers who enjoyed Fruits Basket will likely come away loving Air TV.
Yukito (Air) and Kyo (Fruits Basket) both discover themselves I guess that's what is similar. I mean it's been a while since I've watched them so...
