Anime that follows the usual battle shounen tropes, but with one twist - the plot is all about food and cooking. While Shokugeki no Souma battles are chef duels, Toriko battles are mostly about getting the cooking ingredients. Both feature delicious looking foods and goodgasms.
How can i not recomment toriko? both of these to series take place in a world of gourmet age, although Toriko is more about gourmet hunting and exploration, than cooking competition like shokugeki no souma is.

Both of them about food; however, Shokugeki no Souma is way better and more enjoyable.
p.s. Shokugeki no Souma doesn't include action and fighting.

Food Wars and Toriko both involve food and getting hungry really easily, you're basically starving yourself to death. But Toriko is also similar to Hunter x Hunter and JoJo for its outlandish abilities.
