Firstly, I’d like to say that the settings are very different : Lazarus is a dystopian sci-fi, while Cowboy Bebop is a space opera. However, both anime share similar vibes, with comparable types of combat (acrobatic and martial arts).
The characters are often shown with simple but striking colors, giving each of them a distinct visual identity. Both anime also feature jazz music in their soundtracks, and you can feel the influence of American culture in the buildings, the characters, and the overall aesthetic.
That’s probably because both shows are directed by Shinichirou Watanabe, who’s known for blending music, mood, and stylish visuals
