While they have very different plots and characters, they have a strangely similar feel. Both have strong western influences, an episodic sequence to most of the season until the end resolves the plot with a very serious tone. Most episodes have a similar format, with seemingly easy or innocuous assignments/bounties/activities of the characters turning into crazy chases through the city by the end. Both anime also require a bit of reading between the lines to understand what the episodes are really about, and many have a philosophical note to them. The music is also very similar, with jazzy beats throughout both. If you like one,

Both series stories' are driven episodically, with different individual characters being focused on each episode. Both are action-oriented involving a crew of people facing off against dangerous criminals, or sometimes more down-to-earth stories of members of the crew getting involved with strangers' lives. Both are very musically involved especially centered around the jazz and big band style. And both homage to real gangster movie style, while Cowboy Bebop goes into the Sci-Fi and Kekkai Sensen goes into the Supernatural. Both blend action and comedy very well.
Humor, Sci-Fi, Action, a great cast of characters, an amazing dub cast, and some of the best music anime have to offer to make one of the best anime of the decade.

Has a very similar style, feeling, and flair to it. The music styles are similar, both having jazz selections, and both anime are heavily influenced by Western ideals.
it has almost the same type of humor
follows almost the same weekly ep format
different characters go through some development each ep
each ep has some "deep" lesson inside
both also slowly build up for the main character to fight a main villain that finally allows him to change

Both involves some futuristic take on the Western world... lovable characters, and cool, well animated fight scenes with jazz in the background. Amazing soundtracks, both of them. Good show to sit back and enjoy.

Both have the same atmosphere. They both feel fairly light hearted and episodic, which gives them both unique charm. Both have a diverse cast of characters. They both utilise a soundtrack that features jazz, to enhance the city feel. They are both fairly light and comedic, with a good amount of action.
Loveable, repeatitively appearing main cast meets wacky events in each episode
