Let me be clear, in terms of story, characters, tone, and morals, these two have practically nothing in common. The reason i still make this recommendation is because both are anime that revolve around music. In Cowboy Bebop, the OST is incredible and highly composed of jazz, the names of the episodes are references to actual songs and artists, and the characters themselves are like jazz, by which i mean that they're cool, unpredictable, and move with a certain flow.
