es en serio? me queire de verdad? de veras?
And I don't want it to end obviously, that's why I really take my time :D but yeah I love it
No prob, I was in your situation myself two months ago and I wished I didn't had to look up on the entire internet for it lol. Mmm, I actually bought the first volume only. I wanted to feel it in my hands before purchasing more and well, yeah, as expected it's great. The book's rather small for the ammount of details in it but everything is crystal clear. I'll continue to buy them slowly until I get them all. Hopefully. Eventually. lol
Indeed, they are quite expensive. Having the entire collection sums up to roughly 450€, but then again, I'm not sure if I'm gonna buy something else other than Berserk. But ya, I also find it rather cringy reading romanian subs on some anime I download but if I got that desperate it means I didn't had a choice :D Don't know about your case though, 20€ is quite a lot, you can buy 4 more volumes with that. Decisions, decisions...
Actually I did and I know the perfect place for you to buy them. Look up bookdepository, the website it's fantastic and full of books and comics. The best thing about it is that they ship for free worldwide and it doesn't take that much for the item to get here. Books dispached in less than a week and then in like two or three got here. Another thing nice about them is that they have most of the books on sales usually 15-25% off. Make sure you get the Dark Horse translations, always. They're the best. Also, Berserk being Berserk, some volumes go out of sale so if they're not here it's very possible you won't find them anywhere. At least for now.
"I just want to start off by saying that "Ghost In The Shell" loves to asks it's audience questions. What is it that makes us human? Is it the soul (refered to as 'ghosts' in this film)? Or is it flesh and bone? What happens when your memories can be erased and replaced like music on your iPod? If your body is entirely mechanical, can you still call yourself human? If your consciousness is active, yet your body is nowhere to be found, do you still exist?"
So ya, a great watch if you introduce your sister into this world with a classic, this is your best bet. Regardless of what you chose I hope you manage to get her into it. I for one didn't managed to get my best friend into it, he just says he doesn't have time for them but when we're hanging out the fucker wants to watch a movie hahaha. Maybe you're more lucky.
Spice and Wolf was pretty sweet all right. And the female MC was quite intriguing and I absolutely adored the interactions between the two MC's. It's funny with a bit of spice. Isn't that why we watch anime though ? We get loads of different feels. That is precisely why Gintama is my favorite of all times. Nothing, in any form of entertainment, has made me feel so many things.
Well, I don't know, I can enjoy almost any kind of genre if I'm in the right mood. From the generic shonen to the most brutal seinen, from the most mind-fucking psychological anime to a romance-comedy with highschool setting. Well, I'm still having trouble with tasteless fan service and ecchi scenes. The Monogatari series have both good and bad fan service so my feelings are mixed up there, but I recently dropped Dagashi Kashi for that. We do have a lot of anime to watch and pick from, but unforunately fan service is slowly making it's way more and more into anime. Kill la Kill was mocking the excessive fan service with.... excessive fan service and very very flashy action scenes, lmao. That was quite the trip all right, strangely enjoyable but WTF over the top lol.
Well that's the thing, I don't add every title that seems appealing. I actaully do a bit of research about it before adding it to the list, I like to have an overview about what I'm about to watch. But the thing is I bookmark all of the seasons of said anime so ya lol. Hell naw, I'm not going to lose my youth updating MAL with what I wanna watch, I'm too lazy and worried for my time to do that. I can finish a series in that time, you know ? I'd rather not lol.
Mmmm, I always had contact with anime. Pokemon as a lil brat, DB series as a slightly older lil brat, but then I guess I had a short break and I started rewatching them in primary school. Until highschool I was already watching Gintama, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach and so on. Since then, I continued watching whenever I felt like / had time for it.
How about you though ?
The thing with Natsume isn't that it got me discouraged, hell naw. I'm actually happy it has more content, but the thing with this is that when I usually start a series with multiple seasons I feel unwell until I finish the whole thing lol. Considering it's lenght, it might take a while and I don't wanna torture myself yet bwahaha. The only time I also dragged something was with Spice & Wolf (which you REALLY have to watch it, probably sooner than others). I simply could not finish the last episode, I didn't wanted it to end T_T. I think it took me months to finally end the second season and it still didn't feel pretty. Nowadays I just wanna get it over with and remember it as a whole rather than torture myself anymore.
Aye, it is. On one side it's frustrating that you never catch up, but on the other side you never really run out of content. In fact, there's so much content you can still be very picky with your anime. If you wanna watch a drama, you can. A comedy ? No problem. Something psychological ? There's gotta be in there. Ultimately I think it's a good thing. But as you asked yourself, I also wonder how long I'll keep doing it. Maybe a few months, or maybe years. I'll let the enjoyment speak for me, not my age.
Experience ? I don't know, it really depends on what we can define as being "experience" in this case. I've certainly watched more, and I also have a PTW list with even more content. Maybe not all of them are golden but I sure did my research for a large part of them.
I wanted to watch Natsume so badly but seeing it has so many seasons I decided to put it off for a while. I'm actually thinking of watching Kino no Tabi first, then finish everything related to Mushishi. But that, will probably take a while haha. I'm mostly watching this kind of anime in between some serious ones, or simply when I feel like it. I'm currently watching Mushibugyou but after that I'm thinking of continuing my Ghost in the Shell trip. Once I'm done, follows KnT.
Slice of life is love, slice of life is... well, life. One needs to relax once in a while.
But alas, I keep saying this but, I might seriously die before I watch everything I want to as the list keeps increasing faster than I'm able to watch them. I'm not yet sure if this is a good or a bad thing. And that's only for anime, I have quite the volumes to read aswell ...
I'll take on your offer, I will let you know if I need more slice of life. Although, to be completely fair to you, considering my huge PTW list I'm sure I have quite a few you don't know yet lmao.
