I know! It goes by so fast!

Oh, I have so many: Sakamoto Days, Dr Stone s4, Solo Leveling s2, Toilet-bound Hanako-kun s2, Honey Lemon Soda, Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga, The Apothecary Diaries s2, Medaka Kuroiwa is Impervious to My Charms, I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class, My Happy Marriage s2, Unnamed Memory s2, I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons, Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You.

What about you? What are you watching? Do you have any favs?

So far I only started the sequels like Dr Stone or Solo Leveling, there's also this manga Kuroiwa Medaka that I read so I'm watching the adaptation but it's not really good so far

Happy New Year! 🎉 I hope 2025 brings you joy, success, and new adventures. How did you celebrate the start of the year? Any special anime or special events and plans for the upcoming year?
Are you looking forward to the next anime season?

My Christmas was like a whirlwind of chaos and disappointments. It was like I had a front-row seat to the circus and every act was an absolute letdown.

At least it's not hard to choose what to watch with the number of choices available lol. Well at least for Fire Force it means we're getting a high quality production and that it will look good (hopefully)

Thanks ^^ happy holidays to you too

Well I don't know much about most of the non-sequels stuff except Sakamoto Days, but there are way too many good sequels for next season apart from the ones you said I want to see the 100 girlfriends S2 and BanG Dream Ave Mujica, also there is that Okinawa anime I learned about this summer when I was in Okinawa myself so I'm curious to see how it will be.

Yup and Spring even has Fire Force comeback

Happy holidays, what's the plan for the holidays? I suppose it's not just binge-watching anime like myself?

What's your favorite anime of the year?
come on! Don’t sleep on comedy anime—they’re pure gold! Imagine combining your favorite action-packed and adventure-filled moments with a dose of laugh-out-loud humor. It’s like adding sprinkles to your ice cream—just makes everything better. Shows like Detective Conan, One Punch Man and Gintama perfectly showed action, mystery, goes very well with comedy, making them impossible to resist.

So give comedy anime a shot—you might just find yourself laughing out loud and having a blast!

Which ones?

I just finished Dandadan! It really surprised me with how well it balanced its wild action scenes, quirky humor, and heartfelt moments. Episode 7 was incredible—so emotionally beautiful, I can see why you loved it. The ending tied things together nicely while leaving room for more potential stories. I’m glad you’re enjoying it, even though ecchi and comedy aren’t usually your thing! season 2 is coming. This is certain given its massive popularity.

As for NegaPosi, I just finished it too. While the story was a bit underwhelming overall, I’m glad the characters survived. I think the main character recovered from their illness, and I agree—it would’ve been great to explore the backstories of the shop staff more. I’d rate it around 6/10.

Spirit Chronicles S2 heating up sounds exciting! I also plan to watch it once it’s finished. Hopefully, the new animation style doesn’t take away from the experience too much.

For Blue Lock, I completely agree—the animation quality is disappointing, especially compared to the first season. I’ve kept up with the latest episodes too, and despite the issues, I can’t seem to stop watching, haha. Fingers crossed they take their time with the animation if we get another season.

Mecha-Ude sounds like a fun shounen with a unique twist. I’ll definitely check it out when I’m in the mood for that kind of vibe.

And Danmachi—I totally get it! This is the kind of anime that’s so much better binged, especially with all the intense cliffhangers. Coincidentally, I just finished an arc and reached the War Game—super excited for what’s next. Watching it all at once is definitely the way to go!

Congrats on catching up with some older anime like Wistoria! It’s such a solid show with great world-building and an interesting magic system. I’m also excited for the second season. There are still so many great anime from last season I haven’t started yet, though—I’m working through my backlog too.

Oh, and sorry for the late reply! I wanted to watch a few more shows first before getting back to you, haha.

Tbh it feels like all the seasons are heavy, you just need to make choices but it's hard
Eupherne Dec 6, 2024 11:12 AM
Yeeeesss, I'm watching Mecha-Ude and Dandadan too. Love those two!

I'm also watching Tower of God s2, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, Blue Lock s2, Blue Exorcist s4, Yakuza Fiancé, and seven more. I'm most looking forward to the ones I've mentioned.
RainyEvenings Dec 4, 2024 6:14 PM
I really like mystery, shounen comedy, slice of life, sports, cgdct, youkai nature etc.
I'm a very timid and laid back person I can't stand to watch depressing sad manga anime with war politics, dark Abyss, apocalyptic settings, illnesses, sick or mutated characters .. It wasn't like that before but I have experienced some trauma in life and living alone I'm always longing for happiness.
Do you like comedy?
Ashhk Dec 4, 2024 3:22 PM
I would say it also depends on how much time you got to watch stuff because for me it's also either older shows or only seasonal, there are too many seasonal anime and a lot of them are also high rated or sequels so it's a pity to miss them but at the same time I can't watch older stuff anymore :(
Ashhk Nov 29, 2024 12:21 AM
I'm kinda like that sometimes too even though I have no issue watching two seasons of a same anime back to back lol it's kinda psychological I guess
It’s time to ditch the text file.
