I watched the Shigurui anime and I liked it...but it was kind of...brain-numbing. Not in a bad way, but all the Japanese (I watched it dubbed) and the background characters that were introduced (the manga had this problem too) and the lack of ending...But it did set me up in the right state of mind for the manga, with all the voices and such in my mind. And it ended! Not the way I wanted it to, to be fair, but it end it did and with surprising conclusiveness for Japanese stories. The gore wasn't too bad, I think, or maybe the fact it wasn't ero-guro meant it didn't really register on my radar. The story was gripping though, I read it in in two sittings, I couldn't get enough of it.

I spent all day on that OP post, I don't even know why. I had to leave myself a comment with the rest of the songs I wanted to add, but I don't know if I'll get around to it. I like endings too, especially cheesy old jpop (like the second ending of Sailor Moon Super S or Escaflowne) but many I skip. I listen to openings a lot for some reason, like waking up with Azumanga's in my head, which happens often. My music taste is really disappearing.

Ah, if you don't mind, I'll just skim over what happened to me because I hate repeating myself, and trust me, I've repeated myself hundreds of times over the years. I hurt my foot during PE (I pulled some ligaments between my toes) and I was on crutches for a while, but it healed up fine. But in the summer holiday after that I started sleeping 20 hours a day. I had a lot of tests and I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism (which has a lot of ambiguous symptoms but you just take a pill a day for treatment). However, I wasn't getting any better, so I had a lot of other tests. I've had ultrasound, MRI, x-ray, blood tests, 8-hour blood tests (a blood test every half an hour for 8 hours), blood sugar tests (where you prick your finger and do a reading like a diabetic), urine tests, ect. (and ofc psychiatric tests - you won't believe how many people thought I had depression.) Anyway in the end I got diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which a lot of doctors refute the existence of, which makes things difficult. But it's basically an autoimmune disease that means you feel pain more than the normal person, and also, that painkillers don't work for it. For some people, it's managable, but for other people, it's a living hell. I'm sort of in the middle...I'm not in much pain if I don't really do anything, so I don't really do anything...You see why I'm a rabid nerd, right? Anyway, in case you feel sorry for me, I have to say my life isn't that bad. My parents had to hassle the school for months and months to get me them to send a tutor, but in the end, even though I got As in the work I did for them, they said it all amounted to nothing. So I have no qualifications, not a one. But at least I'm not Johan. Oh, I forgot to say, my family has a history of autoimmune disorders, and they often crop up when you have an injury or illness and your immune system just freaks out - so I got hypothyroidism from my foot injury, and my fibromyalgia frommy hypothyroidism. It just goes to show: PE is evil and life-ruining.

I get more annoyed at young people behind happy and peppy than adults. Can't stand Glee. I hope they die in a bus crash, is that hard? I typed bush crash at first, I really hope their bush doesn't crash, that really is too cruel for words. I mostly just pity the fast food rockers. :(

I don't mind a lot of music, do you have a certain genre you prefer overall? When I was younger I was into melodious metal/hard rock, then electronic, then indie, then shibuya-kei, then kpop, and now I don't really listen to much. I have always liked older British stuff though.

I haven't seen Lovely Complex, but as a tall girl I think I'd get overly offended. I even think the main girl and I are the same height. I read somewhere that it's kind of painful to watch, but, eh... most romances are.
