Hahahah it doesnt insult me, I just dont like when shows deviates so much of humanity and goes into delusion, even more when it can be preventable by doing things better with the same purpose. I dont mind the MC, he seems like a pretty much normal person, I mind how people act around him. The time travel is fine too, at least it serves an interesting purpose to deliver the message. At least it is not Tokyo Revengers time travel lmao
I don't like how plastic the interactions between the characters are. The main character act as a pivot to everything that is happening through the story, which is apparently on purpose but does nothing but break all the sense of stakes and surprising factor thoughout the story since it is pretty much telegraphed until the "twist". The harem undertones are pretty boring to watch too, they seem more like a fantasy coupled with desires. Also, the original premise is completely butchered to introduce both of the remarks above, the series could have focused more into the fact that they are in an art school and provide the same message about how to let everyone get their own struggles, but instead they just derailed completely and the art school scenario was just a mask to get people with artistic talents together.
Finally, almost all situations feels completely childish and superficial, more like the otaku idea of how everything works instead of a comprehensive idea of that. To get a better idea of what I'm saying you maybe need a point of comparison if you never watched cinema. There is always many branches you could use from a scenario. From just using it as a setting or using it as a motive, in this case it is used as both but the capability of using it as a motive is beyond the writing and feels superficial. Hibike Euphonium, 3-gatsu no Lion, Haikyuu, Yuru Camp or Kageki Shoujo are animes that use the scenario to its fullest, as an example in the medium. In this cases you can sense a love towards what they present, and you can even understand such love through watching people who are into such hobbies/crafts reacting to those pieces. That is not the case with this, I'm a programmer and the last episode was so stupid that I had to pause several times in order to fully comprehend its magnitude
