To be fair it’s not offensively bad, just my least liked thing I’ve completed. Things usually felt either forced or nonsensical, like they were always coming out of left field. The worst example being when he suddenly went on top of her. It’s not as careful as the storytelling I would like from something where drama/their relationship is the focus. I was not impressed by the artwork either, it’s below a lot of TV seasonals I’ve seen, and this is in a movie. The fireworks scene was a particularly bad moment both visually, and in trying to get an emotional moment without being good enough to pull it off. The ending dragged so I ended up not liking it.

Sorry to say so much negative things, this is like the short version of the review that I thought about but never posted.

Yeah, I also like visual novels so I'm playing through the game before starting the anime. It takes me a long time cause I find it hard to binge watch or play a lot. Kyou is a cutie!
