I was introduced to the Anime world very early in my childhood, less than 5 channels were present at that time in my country and one was foreign. The children section was filled with cartoons and educational shows but the good thing is that many of the cartoons were ANIME that were dubbed to my native language.
Time passed and the teenage years passed until one day a friend talked about going to see a "Manga" (Manga was = Anime then), I asked him what is this manga?? He told me it is animated Japanese cartoons that had special characters with big rounded eyes, big head and a small body; I laugh at him and made fun of him (The person is the enemy of what he ignores) until one night we watched the start of "Read or Die OAV" and that was the trigger, I was hooked.
