Hi, my name is Yonah. I'm a quiet, bubbly and nihilistic college student who loves to share good conversations with all sorts of people.
I'm always busy irl but I make tons of time for anime (and other things like the devil’s lettuce and music, but that's besides the point). Other hobbies of mine include writing, exercising, rapping and indulging in many forms of art.

Wishing you a very happy birthday!!
I hope you have a fantastic day ahead ^^
Yea I do play VNs, but I wouldn't classify them as JRPGs HAHAHA, they're just different. At least to me.
Cool, a coffee lover huh? I'm more of a tea person myself, as for food I'm not particularly picky they just have to taste good lol :P
I grew up watching western cartoons but probably stuff that is way older than what you've mentioned which shouldn't come as a surprise since we've got like a 5 year age gap HAHA. There is great content everywhere we just have to be fortunate enough to stumble upon them, or at least meet someone that is willing to share in that experience :)
The occasional music binge, I think we can all relate to that, I used to be a pretty hardcore gamer myself about a decade ago? Somehow I lost the drive because games of that nature felt pretty mundane, ever since I got over that phase I've only ever focused on games with a solid narrative or coop type of games where I can play with someone just for the troll factor haha.
I'm always impressed by people who've seen that many titles, but perhaps the main thought that come to my mind was, through binging so many series at one go where they truly able to enjoy and appreciate the titles? Or were they just watching because they can? Imagine binging 10 good animes at once, you'll probably have 1 favourite but even if the remaining 9 were awesome you'd probably think they were mediocre. In that sense, I feel like you've not been able to enjoy something to the best of its capacity but that's just my own opinion though. People have different approaches in life and well, let's just be open to discussion and agree to disagree.
I love games with a very meaningful narrative, or to some extent contains depth. (JRPGs, or single player games are usually my go to.)
Apart from that movies, books, mostly topics relating to Japan and its culture or food. I'm probably a person that gets really excited when talking about good food.
What about you?
I'm glad that you enjoyed reading it :P (if it interests you enough please do take some time to go through it haha.)
Nice! I've been looking at Ousama Ranking for awhile now and its ratings were what made me curious, but overall it was the voice acting talent that made me want to watch it, perhaps that's what I'm going to watch next HAHA.
Well I see many people complaining about school and stuff, but really is there anything better? Because once we're out it will probably get way harder, as for finding a job well there probably needs to be a balance to facilitate a suitable work-life-balance. And you're absolutely right, Life is too short.
You'd be surprised man 1,000 animes is actually within reach, but its all about the process right? It wouldn't make sense to hit a milestone if you don't enjoy it so the experience matters :)
Just take it easy and everything else will sort itself eventually.
Well I have actually watched a couple of clips here and there and it really stands out as a very wholesome romance anime, not jumping onto the bandwagon or anything but it could possibly be one of the better romance titles that become available within the industry just purely based on the interaction between the MCs but as it stands it is still too early to tell because we've seen some series that can achieve a rousing performance in the first half and really drop the ball in the next. But where it is going right now I'd say there is a very strong chance that it continues to ride on its success given that the manga is pretty ahead, which is always a good sign.
Ousama Ranking did pique my interest as well, mainly because of the voice acting talent will definitely want to take a look at it soon.
Hmmm, I actually wrote a review about it! If you're interested you can read it hahaha and give me your feedback, but to give you a quick rundown I felt that it was pretty reminiscent of ReLife which has a pretty similar concept but done differently. I enjoy the fact that it tries to be as Human* as possible but perhaps the only drawback here is how it lacks the negativity and realism of life. Not to say that pessimism is good but it really overshadows the challenges one might face and instead plasters on a determination > any other obstacle mentality.
Although I enjoyed the series there were some areas that really needed improvements, not to take anything away from the narrative it was pretty basic, I wouldn't call it unique as there are similar titles but not too cliche or bland either. The real standout for me was the way the characters were written as the show really doubles down on them which technically forces the audience to go on a journey through their perspectives or rather the perspective of the MC. I could probably go in-depth but I'm not too sure if you'd appreciate that HAHA
As you can see I have the tendency to ramble on for too long.
Also apologies for the delayed reply, its a little challenging to juggle school work, a part-time internship plus club activities. But at least I feel productive LOL.
That being said, I am watching Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan at the moment because they're readily available on Netflix in my region.
Though I'm currently very interested in "Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru" [My dress up darling] just because I'm a sucker for romance.
But overall, this year looks like there's plenty of good anime in store. Pretty hyped for the Shield Hero S2.
What about you?
Thanks for the friend request :)
