Since youre planning Blood Sign, please dont be put off by the first chapters, or the first volume in general, it has a rough start, i loved it, but ive seen more then enough people not like the first volume, it gets alot better from V2 onward, and V5 is a genuine 10/10, all the people ive encouraged to read more after the first volume all came to love it
A.) The "Chinese cartoon" statement was not a jab against the Chinese industry but against anime fans who react with vitriol when someones trolls them by calling anime "Chinese cartoons". Seriously, I thought that was clear.
B.) I praised, emphasis on praised, the retirement scene, calling it the best scene in the show so far ("the retirement announcement in Episode 2 captures a glimmer of the fervor an eSports gaming community has for its own flock").
C.) I'm not doing a disservice to myself because as I said, subpar storytelling made glaring by weak character presentation and development.
Hey nice start to your NHK review. I'll reread it once you have finished the show. Also your about section... literally exactly the way I feel. Only my very closest friends know I enjoy anime and I try to keep others from knowing xD. Even funnier I do the same with binge watching. If I like the show enough I try my damnest to finish it within the week. Anyway good job so far!
I enjoyed your AnoHana review, you didn't over glorify the show but you said all it's strong points. May I suggest you change up your format a bit so you include descriptions of the story, art, entertainment, sound, and characters so it's a bit more in depth? I'm curious on what other reviews you can write.

So you're watching Gintama that's great.
Well let me give you an advice.
Just for the information.
The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.
But it will improve a lot afterwards.
So I hope you will keep on watching Gintama.
