Oh, I see! How was your spring break? :)
And thank you! My break is now over and I didn't really get to have a lot of free time =w=
Yeah, the concept feels weird to me overall but I can see why it is enjoyable. And yeah, there weirdly aren't a lot of anime's touching on historical stuff or just anime's with history. Hotaru no Haka/Grave of the fireflies is a historical anime based on a real story and events, very good.
Idk! They thought Monster and some other anime's were too slow/boring etc. smh.
Ah, I can understand that. Fun fact we don't get any homework here... or well I never have at least lol.
And where I live in sweden is the worst like infected area of sweden at the moment and this monday they are going to open up the schools again??? Like I have no fucking idea, I'm 100% certain it's only political due to grades dropping and other shit probably. I don't wanna go since I might be in the risk zone TwT. + Wearing a mask here is of course ''weird'' because sweden is just fucking gay... sorry I got a bit frustrated xd
English? :o Why's that?
Are you good at french? :D
And mine would probably be History, geography and probably English. And all of the like sciency subjects too I guess c:
Fuck, finally I am on break/holiday from school. It has been eating all of my fucking free time :(
But now I am finally back to watch anime and be active on mal once more!
Glad to hear that you enjoyed/loved/liked it! :D
And I honestly don't really get the whole isekai genre and I'm kinda new to it so it's just simply weird to me. I am also a huge fan of history so like... it just doesn't really feel right to me xd
I know it's an anime but in the back of my mind you know I just shake my head in silence but it of course was still enjoyable at times!
Very nice! Be sure to tell me if you ever make an account or something yep! :D
Yeah I see, it is also really long so yeah. Thanks! :)
It really is! And they fucking dipped on me :( Smh now I'll have to re-watch and finish the shows alone xd
How did it go? Or well hard to know I guess..? And yeah, I still don't get it lol. And how was wearing 2 masks? Did you feel any difference?
And ??? honestly makes no sense smh
Speaking about school! What are your favorite subjects?
lol no worries. And yeah it really is :/
People can have like a ''dark/ugly''' side so that's how people can get into one I'd guess.
I knew I could recognized her! And I have watched it. Honestly I didn't really enjoy the series that much due to it feeling really repetitive and like nothing happened. But I liked the movie :)
That's good to hear! :)
And ???
Can't they wait 8 weeks? I don't get how people honestly think sometimes. But I'd guess it is because of exams? maybe? no? yes?
Do you have to wear masks?
And I see, well yeah. Stay safe! :)
Ah, very nice! :)
And :OOOO
Hope you enjoy it! Be sure to tell me what you think! And the animation can be hard to digest at first but you'll get used to it :D
And don't worry lol, it's fine.
And I've been doing fine. Nothing has really happened to be honest. I've started to use Anilist a lot more now rather than MaL. Anilist is just straight up better than mal in almost all ways, I recommend it. The only thing which I like on mal is the whole comment system but anilist has something that's basically the same :)
I've been watching a lot of more Gintama which is actually quite fun and I'm enjoying it a lot more then I thought I would.
I've also been watching anime with some friends which has been fun since I got to pick the anime + some of them barely watch anime :p
Apart from that nothing new really :/
But you're actually supposed to skip the first two episodes, which a lot of people don't do, so they end up dropping it. As for when it gets "better", the answer is honestly quite difficult. The easiest way to answer that would be: it depends. Every person is different. However, almost every Gintama fan can tell you that it took a while for it to click with them - I'm the same. It can be a grind, mostly in the earlier episodes when you're getting acquainted with some of the main cast. If you see one of the most recent comments on my profile, you'll see someone who is also watching Gintama, and is starting to love it! Episode 20 (where he is at) is where most people argue say that it starts getting good, and I agree. A little before episode 60 is another moment which gets a lot of people hooked. For me, I'm pretty sure I loved it right from the beginning, but it was a little hard to get through the episodes. I ended up taking a few breaks here and there, while gradually making my way through - I would suggest watching at least one episode a day! It hopefully shouldn't be too hard to set aside 20 minutes to watch one episode.
I feel like I'm getting way too sidetracked, so I'll try to be concise from here: episode 20 is where it starts getting better because a sizeable portion of the main characters have been introduced, so the episodes now shift to how the characters interact rather than how they meet. Episode 58 is another big number to keep in mind. The 80s-90s have some great mini arcs and comedy episodes. Even though I loved Gintama the whole way, episode 101 was where I was 100% hooked to it (yeah it's kind of far in but goddamn, the 2.5 months it took me to get there felt like a flash). Episode 146 was when Gintama became my #1. Episode 180 was when I got depressed that I was halfway.
So it's a grind. I can't deny that. Yes, Gintama isn't flawless, because nothing is. But goddamn, it was by far the most entertaining thing I've ever watched. I'm gonna go so far as to say that it will remain my #1. Every episode is a new ridiculous adventure. You don't know whether Gintoki will accidentally step on a beetle that is the pet of some king, or he has to become a lawyer to represent a homeless guy, or one of the side characters has to kill Frieza from Dragon Ball Z in order to smoke a cigarette. But then there's also the episodes that'll make you bawl like a kid - Gintama is also the only anime I have ever actually cried watching. So the best thing I can say, after writing this essay that is WAY too long, is stick with it! Slowly but surely, make some ground. And hopefully by the end, you'll have a pair of Silver Balls like the rest of us Gintama fans lol

I'm happy to hear you like my stuff and good luck on collecting Battle Royale!
And thank you! My break is now over and I didn't really get to have a lot of free time =w=
