Probably just using this account to add reviews for anime I care to do so from now on.

HOW I RATE
So for simplicity's sake, I'll just refer to my scoring as anime but it applies to both anime and manga. I mainly rate anime critically. I specifically look at the characters since I believe even a mediocre plot can be overlooked with spectacular characters but not vise versa.
However, I adjust the rating depending on how much I enjoyed the anime. I raise the rating by 1 if I enjoyed the anime and lower by 1 point if I really disliked it. I really enjoy battle shounens as well as historical anime with samurais so those ratings might be higher just because of my personal preference. On the other hand, I never seem to like action anime that take place modern day so they might be rated lower because I cannot get into them. Additionally, I will never rate any anime lower than a 5 because even the anime I rate that low have their own redeeming qualities.
10 - These anime have little noticeable flaws and many developed characters. While they may not be perfect, they are my personal favorites and I would recommend them to anyone.
9 - These anime are extremely well done and bring out some of the best in their genre. Almost every episode was enjoyable, either deeply or entertainingly, and most, but usually not all of the characters are developed.
8 - These are good anime. They either usually contain deep stories and meaningful messages or are simple, enjoyable watches. Although they often have compelling themes, the lack of likable characters and engagement, or an occasional "off" moment/episode generally causes the show to be an 8 rather than a 9.
7 - These are okay anime. The story is okay while the characters might be underdeveloped or unlikable. It might present a new concept to the table and show off its true potential once in a while; however, the anime is underwhelming most of the time.
6 - These anime have concepts that most likely have been done before and in a better way. The characters are often cliched and established archetypes. Overall, they are lackluster with barely any merit in watching.
5 - These anime are extremely lacking in certain areas, whether that be characterization or story. They also often have a lot of cliches and are filled with excessive, needless fanservice.
Hmm, I can only comment on Koutetsujou since I didn't pick up the rest; it is definitely entertaining. Sometimes it makes me annoyed because the characters aren't very strong. But it is very fun to watch and it keeps my attention most of the time.
I thought it would have been headed in a better direction than it did, but it's still okay.
Do you know if the D. Gray Man is actually a remake or a sequel? Since they're getting new voice actors, I thought it would be a remake but it seems very unlikely to me from the contents of the trailer.
I think it's going to be a reboot, from the beginning, but I haven't really looked into it.
91 Days seems very interesting. Additionally, it gives me Joker Game vibes. And since I really enjoyed Joker Game, on the contrary to others, I hope that I will like 91 Days as well.
I didn't watch Joker Game, despite planning to, but I think I'll enjoy 91 days.
Orange should be good. I actually finished the manga so I'm just hoping the anime adapts the manga well.
I liked Orange, but it was a bit melodramatic to me. I think it started off very well, but didn't end on the same level.
I'm not sure if I want to pick up Tales of Zestiria. It seems fine and the Tales series tends to be alright but I didn't like the OVA much.
I might just watch it for the fantasy setting. Fantasy, when done well, is enticing to me.
I'm surprised it isn't the other way around (keeping your list updated instead of writing reviews), since you're busy.
How did this season's anime do for you?
This season is just okay. I don't think there's anything that's really blowing me away. I'm liking Koutetsujou no Kabaneri, Sakamoto, Tanaka-kun, and Re:Zero.
Anything that catches your eye for next season?
Hmmmm. For next season, I will for sure watch 91 Days, the Berserk reboot, the D. Gray Man reboot, Handa-kun. Mob Psycho, and Orange. Some that could be interesting are: Tales of Zestiria, Battery, and Amaama to Inazuma.
Oh goodness. It's really been a while hasn't it? Over a year... sorry about the really late reply.
Yes, it's been quite some time. Welcome back.
I think you've probably forgotten about our previous conversation so why not start a new one?
I'm able to see the whole conversation still, but it has been a year. Sure, let's talk talk about something else.
How have you been?
I've been doing well. A bit of a bum right now, while I still can be, but doing well. Yourself?
