Hahaha xD, I think myself and maybe most people they hear about Killua, they watch the yt clips and that's what gets them into the anime and then they realise how good some of the other characters are. Other than the suspicious moments Hisoka has, I think he is a very well-written antagonist because he's so unpredictable and hard to read. So yeah I can see why you'd like him. But what other reasons did you like Hisoka for?

YESSS. Omg you're so right about that, the Monster opening was so good to me, for some reason the thought of skipping it never crossed my mind because it set the tone for the upcoming episode so well, like it just put me in that ominous and eerie monster mood. And I am a little different, I really do like anime opening and endings because there is a lot of memories associated wth them for me and again it just puts me in the right mood. The monster opening was one of a kind though because there were no lyrics, the only thing you could hear was that spooky sound and instruments playing. As for the ending I don't remember too much about them other than the little story at the end changing each time as the story progressed. Mhm, the main character Tenma, he has to be one of my favorite characters in anime. The fact he always stuck to what he believed in, when his job was at stake, when the people around him were dying or suffering, and in situations where even his life was in danger he always had resolve to see things through and reach Johan. I knew that Johan was going to intrigue me for sure because he's so spoken about but Tenma was the biggest star to me. He brought a lot of hope to the story and I loved how he interacted with all the characters.

I am happy for you! Literally just only one day off, so close yet so far. And I agree too I think I see a little bit of myself in all of my favourite characters, but ofc I have my own set of unique reasons for liking them too. When I see that the character has like the same birthday, the same mbti or personality in general I am like it was just meant to be lmao. Yep, Indeed. I was thinking to myself that seventy something episodes, I will definitely like lose interest somewhere along the lines but nope from start to finish it has my undivided attention and probably more and more of it as the anime went on.

I do think Johan is one of the best written antagonists but for me I probably didn't like him as much as I'd like because there was just a lot about him which I couldn't understand. Maybe I'll need to study up on him and watch some videos but this character is so complex to me.

Yeah, I think I will start part 6 soon here, I'm almost caught up with the currently airing stuff I plan to watch. As harsh as it sounds, I think my parents saw the way I acted in middle school and didn't want him to end up like that, but ofc my brother is still rebellious when it comes to certain subjects. I do believe that parents don't typically know how to deal with a first kid bc my parent tried screaming at me to do work, realized it didn't work, and didn't do it with my brother.

I mean, I went to my cousin wedding like 2-3 months ago and after the reception we went to Dave and Busters. Me and my cousin went around and played games the whole night, but I do feel a little bad bc I stole him away from the bride. We had other cousins around following us as well, but they kind of just disappeared doing their own things at one point. In terms of my cousins by me tho, I barely see them bc they're usually busy. Tbh it's the opposite for me bc if my cousins aren't around, it can get kind of boring, they essentially save me from boredom. I mean ig my uncles do that too, but that's only if we're hunting or fishing most times. Me and my cousins don't have to have the same interests to be close, but maybe that's just us. I like going out of state to visit, but it's just so far away and expensive, my uncle tho has more money so he can fly out every year or two.

Covid did the same to a lot of my friends, even when it went to in person bc they would require you to stay home a mandatory 2 weeks. It got to the point where whenever any of us would get sick, we just wouldn't take a test bc otherwise you might get 2 weeks and teachers would expect you to make up that work. I hope you can graduate too. Huh, I thought the US had the latest graduation age at 18/19 (very rarely 17 or younger). Are you from France, or a different country?

If I have to recommend now that I've really gotten into them, in terms of new anime, TMLH and Dandadan are two that you should definitely add to your list, Uzumaki has really good artwork, but it's horror (idk if you like that) and the story is mid. I haven't heard of it, but I will add to my watch list.

I want to learn how to play guitar and I know a little piano, but I have a friend that's definitely a lot better tho. I honestly think most of the bass players I've met or seen interviews from have been fine, but that's just me tho. I have not seen Nana. I also see why part 3 was your favorite too, I did like it and it's a very close 3rd for me, Dio and Jotaro where my favorite, but I also liked Avdol too. I also might have been spoiled a bit on part 5, but I feel I would've probably made that connection regardless. By series I meant series of anime, but some TV series yes, but tbh rn, the thing I've been watching the most is sports, but that's what usually happens for me whenever football and basketball season comes around. That's actually one of the reasons I haven't been on this site as much. I've been online, in sports communities the most as of rn.

Yeah, but tbh my brothers in a couple of advanced classes so I feel like they expect more from him now then me, I was a slacker back in middle school, but so was most of my friends.

Yeah, most of my cousins are too, I only have like 3 or 4 that are the same age as me or younger while the rest of them are 20+ years old, but it's still always great when I get to see them bc they're always fun to be around. Most of my cousins that I'm around most are actually live out of state or go to college in a different state, quite a few cousins live in Colorado and another one of my cousins goes to college in Purdue, other than that, the rest live a couple hours away.

No, I don't currently go to college bc covid also fucked my gpa and SAT score into the ground (not that I got a bad score on the SAT, just that it was average). Originally, I wanted to go to MSU or GVSU, but for MSU you have to have a higher gpa and GVSU a good SAT score and they both cost a shit ton to enroll, especially without scholarships. Rn I'm either looking into colleges with less of a gpa requirement, trades schools, or union work which would also be tied to a college or trade school, which the union pays for most of it (most of the time). Just curious, when do you graduate? If you don't mind me asking.

Right now, I'm watching Too Many Losing Heroines! and I plan to watch Re:Zero, Danmachi, Uzumaki, and Dandadan this season. If you have any recommendations, I will take them.

I did play percussion in high school, and I'd like to learn how to play other instruments like guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, etc. Yeah, I think all part 3, part 4, and part 5 are really close for me, but idk I just remember liking part 4 more. Yeah, I wondered from the start if that was the case bc his name was Gio and that's pretty close to Dio and also the hair too. Ngl my take with the getting tired thing was also kind of like my take on food, if I eat to many times in a time span then I get bored, I haven't actually gotten bored of a character yet, I think, idr tbh. Maybe bc I want to try to finish a couple more series, catch up with anime I fell behind on, and catch up with the new stuff before I do, but I will probably start on it soon.

Hmmmm, I'd say my favourite character is Kurapika. Just sad he didn't get a lot of screentime but I guess that just added to his elusiveness. Killua a close second for me because I really liked his character development. Do you have a favourite hxh character?

SAME HERE! Really had a hard time deciding what to kick off to make room for monster, sigh. I loved Monster from start to finish and I could tell early on that this show was a one of a kind masterpiece. I now see why it's so praised. I loved how everything was connected, even facts that seemed insignificant added up and it felt like there was no wasted time and every episode was intriguing. Those were some of my favourite aspects to this anime. Wby? what did you like most about Monster?

I honestly don't think being the older sibling is cool either, at least while your sibling is younger. I swear my little brother was always a brat and got away with everything bad he did because "he's younger than you"(in my parent's words). I'm not sure about a sister, I think it would be interesting though. I will admit I think siblings are boring in general bc my brother will be boring one day, but then I'll go hang with my cousins another day (mostly guys) and it will be some of my most memorable moments with my family members.

While I do like Reze's arc, what I really can't wait to see animated is the control devil arc and the start of the academy saga, I feel like those in particular will be really well animated.

Yeah, I hated school for having to play catch up, but I'm glad that I'm finally done with it. I hope your grades stay good too, you don't want failing classes close to the end of the semester. I'm kind of slow with shows as well lol, but hopefully you'll also be able to graduate soon too.

Yes, I really liked Rohan too and I really liked part 4 in general. Yeah, I do think if they take too long then I would get bored too, but on the other hand if you use a character too much you might also get tired of seeing him or the author might run out of ideas for that character. It also allows me to focus on other characters as well which is why I developed other favs. I also don't usuall y care what people say and plus it's JoJo so it's most likely gonna be good anyway and actually I might start JoJo part 6 soon, but first I have some other anime to finish tho lol
