I used to watch tons of anime but I don't have much time for it anymore due to school and whatnot. This website is so awesome eh? Gives me a list of my anime if I ever forget where the hell I am on each series. And when I re-browse the vast variety of ones I have watched before, it brings back good (or bad) memories of that particular show.
Anyways, I have 2 general expectations before I watch anime.
a) ANIMATION: Yeah yeah I'm superficial blah blah but I just don't feel that sheer enjoyment in watching a series if the art isn't good. Animes with beautiful artwork are often on the top of my list - that is, if they don't suck.
b) CHARACTER: Must be at least one good character that I've fallen in love with. Not literally but you know what I mean. I've got no patience if every single individual is bland and uncreative. It's like when you're reading a book and you just want to stab the protagonist. Yeah.
I usually almost always watch animes that are of at least one or more of these genres:
{LELOUCH!!, Vampires, Horror, Sci-Fi, Magic, Supernatural, Mystery, Action, Romance}.
From best to .. least best.
(I didn't even think Vampire Guilty was THAT good but the animation was hot and +vampires (ZERO!) = awesome)
I haven't found any really amazing animes lately - the last one I watched and REALLLY enjoyed was Code Geass R2 (My all time favourite now!). But I hope something will pop up soon.
