that sounds like something a gay person would say

Yeah it's a pretty simple and nice 'this character is trans' deal. Everyone just accepts it and is fine with it. In the scene one of the other characters was actually wearing the trans pride colours so I thought that was a nice touch. The official twitter for the series is making positive posts about her too asking everyone to respect her what's nice

I feel you on your tsunderes. Fun fact: My two favourite characters are Mikoto Mikoshiba and Michiru Matsushima who are both tsundere characters with M.M initials. Sadly Michiru gets a lot of hate though as she's suppose to be the 'stupid punching bag' character. I love tsundere characters so much who are literally anything but 'abusive tsundere' Do you have any other favourite tsunderes?

Awesome, glad to hear! I haven't actually finished the Bloom Into You anime myself, but I read a good portion of the manga and really enjoyed it. And that's fair, the magical girl genre isn't for everyone - I can't say it's one of my favorite genres either.

Hiya! I've been afk for several days and just now saw this, but I'd love to give you some recommendations for anime with lgbt rep! For some you haven't seen, try Aoi Hana, Nabari no Ou, or Bloom Into You (this anime is pretty recent).

I'll also toss in Sailor Moon Crystal, you may have heard of the famous Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune couple. These two unfortunatel don't show up until season 3 but otherwise a good show.

I still adore Mary from Ib! Really wish Ib would get one of those anime adaption like Angels of Death did but don't think it ever will. I love Persona so much but will forever be disappointed with how it won't just go for the LGBT content it could of. No gay dating and wouldn't give us trans Naoto. Saying that in the airing anime Zombieland Saga it now has a canon trans character what took me as a surprise because its super rare to see LGBT characters in anime if its not the main focus
And hey since we're talking about Persona 4 let me remind if you or show you the 'best' song to exist

Do you like the new characters in Deltarune? I like them but I don't feel like any of them so far stick out to me as much as Undertale ones did

I'm really enjoying Night in the woods but I temporary had to delete it off my switch for space so once I finish my other games I can go back to it. I adore the characters in it so much! And the aesthetic is so great. So many good things I could say about it and I haven't even completed it

Picking some favourite games is pretty hard but I think I would pick: The dog island, Fire emblem awakening, Persona 4, Steins;gate, Grisaia, Danganronpa, Ib and Undertale! Mentioning Undertale have you played the new one Deltarune?
sweater Nov 21, 2018 3:31 PM
Ok that's good to know now I can look forward to it whenever I actually get around to playing it. It's a shame that unless its gets a switch release it will never have I'll never be able to play it. At least some games I've been really wanting to play got released on the switch like Night In The Woods and Okami which I still have to finish. How good at you beating games? I end up taking forever to finish them

If you watch V3 in sub then afterwards just watch a dub compilation on youtube. It's something that needs to be seen. And hey Baccano one of my fave anime! I prefer Baccano in sub but watched it in dub when I rewatched it as Sam Riegel a voice actor I loved did the voice of a character in it but found out when watching that Sam only voiced that character for their appearance in Durarara and not their character in Baccano so there wasn't really a point for me to watch it in dub

How lucky for you. I don't think I'll ever own a playstation and PC gaming is out the question so rip to never being able to play. Do you think Nier is one of those games I'd enjoy watching a playthrough of or is it one of those games you just can't get enjoyment from unless playing yourself. The Pokemon game isn't as good as the main games but still enjoying it!

I wouldn't say that you're missing anything major by ignoring the V3 anime so yeah don't worry about putting it off. And do you watch series in dub or sub? Because if you watch the V3 series dub Junko is something else

Aaaa I haven't played Nier and it kills me as I really want to play it but I don't own anything it's on. Probably will give in and watch a play through of the game at some point but for now I'm playing Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu as I finally got that today so Nier will be awhile away

There are two V3 anime and one of them does focus on the backstory of the SDR2 class before the tragedy and all that. The final episode ties in to the ending of the other V3 anime so you might be a bit confused by the ending if you watch that only. It also contains spoilers for the spin-off game but if you've decided you're not going to play it at all then you don't need to care about that

Ah pushy pursuing characters are the bane of any romance based manga. Very little of those characters get properly punished too what sucks. Good to know it's good so far though so I don't have to worry about being disappointed when I finally go into it

Do you think you'll play the spin-off game and watch the V3 anime?

I'd say give the anime a few more episodes but not liking it due to that is completely understandable. The series isn't overly explicit but yeah there are moments here and there that make you go a bit ehhh. At least if you decide to drop it you have other series you can check out like I see you're reading Octave which I've been meaning to check out

hello! no worries c:

i enjoyed the anime a lot as well! i agree, the earnest nature of the story made it enjoyable to watch. yeah, i am not a fan of teacher x student relationships either, because generally in anime, they romanticise it instead of portraying realistic responses from society. i think this forces the anime to miss out on emotional factors and opportunities which would've improved the overall quality of the story imo. same goes for the yaoi genre, since it's usually heavily unrealistic and romanticised, i usually avoid genres like these. i noticed you had a similar opinion, and i was interested to know which lgbt anime/manga you found enjoyable?

SDR2 had great characters too. Still adore Tanaka. Another fun fact if you didn't know: Miu was actually written to be the least liked character but is very much loved both in japan and the west. She got 4th place in the popularity poll. What are your favourite series out of all the games?

Yeah kinda sad nothing really happened with the 'none of you really exist!' Game had a lot of flaws when compared to the last games but still is very much enjoyable. Looking forward to the next murder game the DR company is doing and hopefully we will get it in english

The only problem now is having to actually wait until I can have the figure orz

The thing that bothers me the most about the ending to V3 is that I feel like it resulted in nothing. Like I seriously don't think any of their actions made anyone decide to permanently stop the murder game since everyone joined willingly fully knowing they get brainwashed anyway. I could rant a lot about wasted potential in V3 but the whole brainwashing thing was my most disliked thing about it as it kinda sucked for it to be revealed that none of the characters had their real personalities as Shirogane brainwashed them to be like how she wanted them. Since Shuichi joined because he wanted to murder I would of loved if he occasionally shown that he was a bit twisted but wasn't sure why until the end to be reveled that he just was made to forget he was just like that. I really adored the moment where he just gave up and refused to continue so I wish more was done with his personality. Shirogane wasn't a bad character but she just doesn't live up to the 'wow' Junko was. The thing I can give V3 tho is that out of all games it has my favourite cast of characters

Yuri Kuma Arash is by the same person who did Utena so I hope you like it. I'm actually getting a figure of Mikoto for christmas so that's great. Can't wait to finally have it
And yay Danganronpa fans! My thoughts on V3 ending can be summed up with 'wanted potential' I didn't hate the ending but I feel the whole game overall could of done way more with the idea of it actually being a watched game. What about you? Also if you didn't know in the japan for the V3 character popularity poll Shirogane got last place so that sums up that I feel like they should of done more with her too
