Hi!
I am a wotaku, I like to watch anime and read manga. (Like most people here but anyway)
My top favorite anime series are Your Lie in April, the Seishun Buta Yarou Series, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
Of course there are lots of great shows other than these three here but they are the ones who marked me the most.
Feel free to comment on my profile ;)

i knew that you would love it!!!! haha. its a shame that the sequel isnt fully translated.
i see you've read 3 days of happiness? whats your thoughts on it?
Sorry if this is out of the blue, just the idea popped up in my head :). i say read the synopsis first and see if u like the concept 😁😁😁
Oyasumi punpun is my 2nd favourite but i like aku no hana better because of its solid ending and its tackle of serious topics. at first glance this manga seems super pretentious and the dialogue as corny and unrealistic. but this is due to our innate insticts as people to keep this emotions to ourselves all our pervertedness and our weird and abnormalness so 'nakamura' is supposed to be the emobiement of that, she is the 'aku no hana' you arent supposed to like her character, shes basically the devil in many peoples eyes. Her character conclusion though i do love and she does develop but i dont wanna spoii.
Oh thanks, your lie in april used to be in my top ten and i cried at the ending but over the years my preference for animes and mangas have changed and wholesome animes i used to love i give seemingly bad ratings. but tbh i still enjoy them and hold them to a good regard. for bunny senpai anime (i think thats the one u said. i forgot the japanese name for the show so ima assume your talkin bout bunny girl senpai) i felt that it was a bit far fetched with the concept of puberty affecting time and space? and there were some inconsitencies i remember catching out but i forgot lol. i did still enjoy and AGAIN shed a tear to the movie. also yeah we probs dont have the same preference to
animes or manga. while (sorry if im wrong) you probably like wholesome animes with a likable cast and a understandable plot with good writing. I prefer pyschological interpretable animes and manga with well written dynamics and characterization ^^. sorry if in my long texts im coming off as pretentious or something like that. I DO NOT WANNA BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE T^T. but u seem like a cool person so if u wouldnt mind i will quietly send you a friend request ^^
'the guy gets bullied because he stole some f***ing clothes, and I still don't get why he stole them by the way'
Aku no Hana main message is Kasuga's (the mc) descent into nihilism. Nakamura is the one who guides him but it is he who wants to follow it. The spark that begins this descent, the first flowering of his “aku no hana” is obviously the theft of Saeki’s gym suit. This act Kasuga does it by himself, and as far as he justifies it, he knows very well that he has made a bad thing. He could have solved this mistake in a variety of ways, but he never does it; and the blackmail of Nakamura never existed, the psychological pressure comes from him and not from Nakamura. I say this because assuming that Nakamura had told everyone about it, it would simply be her word against that of Kasuga; and between the two, the teachers would have believed the latter, given the reputation of Nakamura. The intent of Nakamura, and she too repeatedly affirms it, is to eliminate the moral preconceptions imposed by society, the super-ego, by quoting S. Freud, so that Kasuga could become “abnormal” like her. The reason why he steals her gym clothes is because of his pervert impulses which is brought by puberty and he has stated he has liked 'Saeki' so thats why he steals it, but being 'abnormal' is completely against society and he is afraid of consequences and his classmates judging him. The reason he doesnt do anything smart to get rid of it, is because he believes he deserves the punishment deep inside, all the pressure he felt from nakamura was in actuality from himself. This is the reason why he refuses to write what he has done on the blackboard because he is afraid but also he knows he deserves it so he does it.
The 'aku no hana' i am referencing is in short, each of us has within himself a flower of evil, that is, the set of impulses of destrudo generated by the senselessness of society and the repulsion towards the rules and towards the ethics that it wants to impose on us; all this amplified by a delicate period of life, just like puberty where teens show an absurd level of anger and hate to rules imposed on them.
The main message of this manga is what it means to be a “perv”, or rather, “be abnormal”. Turning the speech upside down, the spontaneous question to ask is: what is normality? What does it mean to be normal? These are the existential questions that shape a person, and this is what Oshimi wants, to push his readers to form themselves as people. Im trying to stick to what u know already as if i bring up development further down the manga it wont resonate with you. the second part of the manga will probably cater to your taste as it has a good woman lead called Tokiwa. and the mc is like 16 and there is good written romance i would recommend reading but the first half is filled with these eccentric ideals on society so i dont think you'd be able to push through tbh.
it's good art to me I like it !!
