It's has been FOREVER! LOL! I've been out of the anime loop too. I've caught a few eps here and there but no where near what I used to watch. What is this anime rental site you found? I might have to peruse their online rental store! I'm hoping to catch up on some anime too over the summer. I'm still a member on Crunchyroll and I've racked up quite a few series that I want to see. We definitely need to compare notes!!

Hi Ang!!! I'm still alive! But just barely. Work really kicked my butt this past fall into winter...I worked hours and hours of overtime. Good for the paycheck but bad for the soul! LOL!

I'm glad to hear you've jumped back into manga and anime again. I went off it for awhile but now I'm able to dive back in since work is better. I've started up a couple new animes from crunchyroll. Nothing else. I don't want to get over-involved because I'll probably be doing another college class soon. I haven't caught up on Sekaiichi S2 yet. It's on my list but I'll probably wait until the whole season is done and then do a marathon at home.

Anyhoo....I wanted to pop and in myself. I hope all is well up north!

Yeah!!! You will be so proud of me Ang!!! I FINALLY updated my list :) and I am SSOOOOO loving 'Sand Chronicles' i hope she stays with Daigo!!!

On a side note, you so have a GREAT idea about having a community board for video games. Another project for another day maybe...lol.

Angie!!! I've missed you! And I'm uber jealous of your ability to catch up on anime and manga! I've had to put it off due to work...I barely have enough time to eat dinner before it's time to go to bed! LOL! Oh well...things will eventually slow down.

It looks like a new season of anime has started...are you gonna watch any of the new stuff? I'm so out of the loop...I have no idea what's out.

I knew you would like Blood C since it's SO different than a lot of anime...much more dark and intense...oh...and VIOLENT!!! I read somewhere that there is going to be a season two. I can't wait to see where this show goes. And yes...I definitely miss Hagi...maybe they will introduce a different version of him in the second series???

Why do car problems always seem to cost so much??? I hate it when stuff like that interferes with a good vacation! Maybe you can do Vegas after the new year? I'm due to go back to Mexico in January to stay with relatives. I'm lucky that I have family that lives in a vacation location in Mexico.

It's scary how time flies and it seems to get faster as we age. Why is that? I've always wondered if it's because we go from anticipating summer vacations when we're kids to anticipating paychecks as adults. It's kinda sad isn't it. But it that children allow us to relive some of that excitement from our youth! Do you have big party plans for Harley's 8th birthday?

Guess what I had in my email box this afternoon??? A birthday card with cartoon figures signing happy birthday to me while doing all kinds of gyrations!!! LOL! That was so sweet. And yes, I do plan on partying it up but the actual party won't begin until the Friday. I'm going to a halloween theme park in town with some friends. And yes...there will be margaritas involved!

ANG!!! It' has been awhile! LOL! Summer was pretty busy here with school and work. I'm grateful my first class is over. I decided not to take a fall semester class b/c work has gotten really hectic. So much so that I have started working overtime. It'll be like this until January so I thought I should probably prioritize. Thanks for the congrats on the grade.

You and Beth have been on a tattoo binge! I still want one but I'm undecisive...maybe I'll let you pick one out for me??? But seriously...I love sister time and I know it's got to be difficult being away from Beth. I hated it when I lived in Dallas and my sister lived in Austin...4 hours was too far!!!

I'm glad things are going well with your Dad. It's really cool that your daughters are building strong memories of him. I think I told you my grandparents lived with my parents when I was younger and it was great. I felt really closer to them after that.

How in the world does a young, hot mama like you have children in junior high??? LOL! Pretty soon they'll be in high school and then college! Ahhhh! Did I scare you? Advanced classes are the way to go. Regular classes now a days are too easy...especially in public school. Plus it really prepares them for college.

By the way...super hot Texas has actually been in the 90's this week. Cool enough for us to eat outside for lunch...although I did get a sunburn. Seriously...I got a sunburn while eating a salad for 30 minutes. It's ridiculous. I'm sure you've heard about all the fires we have had down here. It's crazy. The grass is blackened everywhere on the highways and it's so hazy with smoke. It smells like a giant bonfire sometimes. On top of that, it's a giant dust bowl -- we're definitely in a drought. There are cracks in the ground several feet deep. I've never seen it this bad. We need rain...period. And there's not forecast for it during the next 10 days. 0 percent...nada.

I'm assuming it's pretty cool up there. I'm green with envy right now. :)

On the anime homefront...you got to watch Blood C! It's so amazingly bloody and gory. Right down our alley! I can't wait to hear what you think!!!
