All I can say is wow, I found the art and the sound to be outstanding but what is the point. This show I would love in another universe in some weird campy fashion. What makes me particularly sad about this series is that it had potential to be distinguishing and as good as Hellsing or Blood+ but it does earn a moniker in my worst anime list as a "number 2." The talent behind the art and the voice acting especially from funimation that gives us Fullmetal Alchemist and the Samurai 7 dubs, were all wasted in this god-awful mess of a show. The ... largest gapping problem for me at least is that the show sincerely focused on geo-politics yet they little focused on vampirism. Was there some tears to the script. Plus the characterizations were just flat or just embarrassing for example I found Ester to be very attractive but then she must have this emotional attachment to an obnoxious retard named Abel. That is much I can remember from Trinity Blood because when I am writing this, I just got back from watching There Will Be Blood. Even that had more Blood than this piece of poo.

Watching this movie, my heart soared. Not only is it a great film. It is the best anime film of all time. Yes, this is slight better than any Miyazaki film, adapted from the godfather of manga, Osamu Tezuaka. Possibly remembered for creating Kimba the White Lion, and Astro Boy. It is a great film for its complex and engaging story. Set against the backdrop of the futuristic 20th century, Metropolis is a city-state that is divided between the rich and poor, human and robots, imagination and science. The Story of Metropolis might have been adapted from Fritz Lang's silent film of the same name. ... But this is one level higher. Its tragic and heartwarming characters give elevation to this film. If I were to disect one frame from this film, I would be still be left breathless. In fact this review doesn't even do the film any justice. You must see this movie.
