Now I'm going to reply the long chat. It's almost half a year now since our last long reply. Wow...

This year I failed exams again...Two biology modules failed this time. So I've to repeat them again in August. *Sigh* such a pain...Also, this year is the most boring year. For the first time, I begin to hate my course....I'll see how this goes, but seems like it's getting unstable at the moment in terms of my liking to the course.
I managed to finish season 3 of Shana. I must say, it's an "alien" season, since it deviates completely from the other two seasons. More action which was the good thing but there were suddenly much more characters introduced and things can get a bit messy. The OVA episodes weren't anything special. Overall, I guess the studio can have so much more potential in producing Shana, but might be rushed or something which made the series only average overall.
Hacking seems to be rare now. Though IMG and YT codes still aren't back. But if you want to, a club that shares and makes custom lists opened a thread on how to install a plugin on Firefox and Chrome which allows only you and whoever installed the plugin to see the images and able to see Youtube embedded videos once again. So far I noticed no side effects, so I guess it's all good.

Well, it seems a lot of the manga in which I never heard of have now turned into an anime series. So maybe it's progressing, just takes time for a lot of manga to turn into anime. As for some unpopular manga, I've no idea. Maybe some of them might turn into a simple anime series.

Hope you'll enjoy it. I see you have finished Aria, glad you enjoyed those seasons. Aria is a magical ride for me. Tamayura came second place. Recently I'm watching Non Non Biyori, an anime from 2013. It's also another peaceful anime that has some funny moments sometimes. And Renge is so cute with her "Nyanpasu", lol. Maybe you can give it a try. Season 2 of Tamayura was good, but slightly lack a bit of development compare to season 1. Maybe because it's a sequel so everything tend to be the same. But it was nice since Fuu found out more about her late father and made a new friend.

I can watch some anime at night time when everyone is asleep at least. So it's still ok. Except during days before exams and tests. And surprisingly I found years are getting harder as years go by than getting easier. I guess it's because we are learning something much more complicated and so they're hard to remember. I'm currently have nearly the whole April off, since I couldn't find an internship yet for the compulsory module. I got an email that, if I cannot find any internship by end of April, I have to do projects and case studies from May to August in university, which sounds like a pain. Hope I can find something before end of April....So now at least I have some time to study for repeat exams in August and watch anime. Hopefully things will go smoothly and so I can reply your next reply sooner than expected.

This was indeed the worst one, since IMG and YT BBCodes are still down. But if you use the plugin as I mentioned above, then it's all good.

Hey ^^ Anyway, I passed my repeat exams. So now I’m proceeding to third year in another week and a half. Third year is not going to be pleasant though, oh well. But anyway, after the repeats, I watched and finished first two seasons of Shakugan no Shana. I like the story and the fights, but I guess the downsides so far is that the new enemies appeared out of nowhere without having much background story, and romance took over a bit too much but I guess it’s expected in a romance action anime. But overall, I got addicted to that anime and ending up watched them much faster than expected. I hope season 3 will conclude well. So you haven't watched the later seasons either? I was checking your list but it seems you made them private.

Yeah, the more popular a manga is, the more likely it will be adapted into an anime or vice versa. Some indeed follows close to the manga, but I assume it wouldn't be 100% maybe, could be nearly 100% with some slight changes just to make the anime more effective and dramatic maybe. Perhaps some bits of the manga won't work well if adapted into an anime. Also, any blood scenes would be completely removed from the anime adaptation if the targeting age group is kind of below the age rating of the manga. Maybe they are the same rating, but I think blood is more allowed in manga perhaps. And any surgical details have changed too: In Shaman King anime, it shows Faust VIII uses his hand and magically went into Manta's stomach and touched some of his internal organs, but in the manga, Manta's stomach was actually opened showing a bit of the rib bones. So I guess, since Shaman King is not meant to be a horror anime, so maybe on TV it cannot show the extreme surgical details.

Hope you'll enjoy Cardcaptor Sakura once you start it :) And gladly you enjoyed Aria :) The current season of Tamayura is sweet too, though I hope they fix the animation mistake of mouth sync in three of the scenes in episode 10, lol.

Well, it's gonna be a boy....So more years of nightmare....Also, my brother now is sharing my room 6 times a week, so only one day he is sleeping with my parents. But I think eventually he would be in my room forever. I managed to watch anime still even though he is in my room sleeping at night. But he sometimes gets up after a few hours, so I couldn't be on my laptop for too long, as my mom wakes up as well. University third year is about to begin, so my anime hours would be near zero again -___-

Oh well, at least the repeat exam nightmares is over, but I've no summer holidays next year due to a compulsory module which requires finding an internship for a few months....busy busy busy :/ So I don't know when would be the next time I can reply :/
MAL was hacked again too, so BBCodes are down, and so most clubs are quiet...but school started for them, so that's also another reason for the quietness. Oh well, hopefully I can chat with you soon ^^

I see...yeah, that's the only thing I can think of when I try to cheer myself up. But what puts me off is that, my mom always compares me to those who has passed everything. So I'm back to the beginning of how I felt all over again -___-

*Sigh* yeah :( First time failed exams and got very low score on two of them -___- The third one was really close to a pass =_= Oh well, this summer is ruined. My parents were so angry that I'm now having a bit of a breakdown -__- But thanks, I hope I can pass them~

Hi ^^ Long time haven’t chat. The exams this semester turned out horrible compare to last semester. I don’t know if I’m going to fail them or not…as time to revise them is just not really there :/ But if lucky enough, I might barely pass them. Still, I have to wait for over a month before I know the result. Lab reports took over most of the time, which is why it left with only two weeks to study which is just not enough time…so now I’ve a mixed feeling about how I did…

True, anime adaptations are mostly not always follow the manga and some of them actually deviate so much from the manga that the manga and anime are almost happening in different worlds. But I guess it sometimes makes sense if they want both the manga and the anime to be able to sell well, or else, if the story and scenes from the anime are exactly the same as all the manga, then I guess people would only buy one of the forms. I didn’t read much manga, so I don’t know if the anime adaptations are good enough or not compare to the manga, but I can only partially agree on what you said. Though I wonder why the producers of anime such as Fullmetal Alchemist decided to actually remake the anime by following the manga instead. Maybe the popularity of the manga…?

Well, as usual, take your time to start on Cardcaptor Sakura. Though for Aria, I see that you started to re-watch the first season again :/ Maybe you should go on to Aria The Origination instead? But yeah, it’s ok if you are not really fond of Aria, so don't force yourself to like it if you really not into it.

Haha, oh well, it’s ok ^^ Different people like different types of games. So I guess I ran out of things to continue the debate about fighting games, lol.

Hmm…well, if I ever read Elfen Lied manga, then, and only then, I can tell if the ending of the manga is better or not compare to the anime. I’m sure there has to be some more info about the Diclonius race and more about Lucy I guess.
