Yeah I find GIMP to be very complicated. You see, I taught myself a certain way using youtube so I kinda want to stick to how I've learned as I don't want to have to learn a new way at the moment.

It wasn't that I didn't have access. I drew the outline on Paint.net then opened it up on GIMP2 because they have all the colouring tools, but it wouldn't let me create a separate grouped layer for colouring, which is the way I've learned to do it. Turns out all I needed to do was copy the picture and paste it onto GIMP2 then I was able to select create layer group ^^

Thanks for the tips. I found a way to do my old style of shading so I;m happy, going to do my Charmander one tomorrow probably ^^

Thanks. Yeah I am really bad at paying attention to detail and like I said before, sizes of things. Also I couldn't use the tools I had access to before for shading like blending colours with paintbrush so I was stuck with standard fill and simple gradiant which dissapointed me :(

Well I've only seen 2 of the OVA's but I'm pretty sure it's all prequel ^^

You can read the spin off anytime I think, it's a prequel :)

I just finished my artwork and sprite. Meh it's not as good as it could be but I can't be bothered doing it again :p

Hughes was one of the best characters, he was even better in the original series which made that scene seem even more tragic
Yeah I also think that Izumi is awesome, her catch phrase " I'm just a house wife" is hillarious. I think I've seen brotherhood around 3 times now.
Sure I'll check it out once I'm done with some stuff from my Plan to Watch list., I've been keeping a lot of series on hold due to exams, Im finally free now though.

I really can't draw with my hand :s

I think in future I might try a bigger canvas and smaller line because I struggled to add fine detail becasue of the width of the lines.

I really need to practice drawing, I haven't actually did any Pokemon art for a few months. I did this one today, but it doesn't look too good. I seem to struggle with outlines and proportion sizes and stuff :S

Ahh well, maybe with a bit of colour it will look ok. I nearly find it easier using the mouse! I did this using straigh lines then editing the points etc

Yeah FMA brotherhood was really great and I absolutely agree about their relationship as brothers. I also really loved the concept of the homunculus as the seven deadly sins. The character development of some characters were really good ( Roy Mustang, Scar).If you liked this series I would seriously recommend Hunter X Hunter.
