Just finished Neko, very impressed, liked it much better than Bake and Nise, though i bet the length had something to do with it, unto Monogatari series: 2nd season then.

Shokugeki no Souma is the best for me thus far,really enjoying everything about it so far.

Ore Monogatari had a great 1st episode but the 2 following have not been as good.

I'm also enjoying Oregairu II but still looking for a bit more from it, i think it's going for a bit more drama and ignoring comedy, i'd at least like to see some decent balance.

Nagato Yuki was really disappointing, i was expecting some sort of connection to the final Haruhi movie since it seemed to be set in the exact same timeline.

Finally there is Ninja Slayer, let's just say i'm not someone who previews anime before i watch them, i don't care to go and look for visuals or PVs, i wait for the 1st ep before i judge everything. With that i was not in anyway expecting what i saw with Ninja Slayer, i knew trigger weren't that formidable but was expecting something at the very least conventional.

Any shows standing out for you thus far?

Have you stopped Shirobako? latest ep was fantastic.

It's almost turned into a sitcom for me, at the start of the last ep, they had no money and had to deal with it and this understaffed, i just feel like each ep before the penultimate will be about solving issues in a comedic fashion with basically no story development (the roulette at the end of the ep isn't development). I just remember the good old days when you saw a show was done by Kyoani, you knew you were not going to be disappointed and it was always on top of your to watch list, they're quickly fading in that regard. I guess i'll have to rely on PA works for this, or more recently MAPPA.

Drop..!? no, but you have Bakemonogatari as your no.1 favorite, i thought you'd have a little more encouraging words for it. A lot of dialogue but it's slightly weird and thought provoking enough for me to keep watching, plus those Shaft visuals, no way i'm ducking out.

Time to see what Nisio Isin's so called masterpiece franchise is all about :D

Some frailties were beginning to show about the MC in the 2nd ep, seems like the show might make him a Tsundere character, but for me the comedy is still good enough to carry on with it. ABP seems to be typical Kyoani, going for a 'unique' looking story. There is really nothing much to go for in the first two episodes, ep 1 was basically an introduction and ep 2 was trying to convince the MC to join, we'll have to wait for ep 3 before we can actually see what the show is about since that's when the MC officially starts his managerial job, the magical aspect of the show might leave some decent surprises but none of the characters or even it's setting seem too intriguing, going only on the first 2 eps alone, it is average.

I was about to drop Shirobako 5 mins in, but once the time skip kicked in, i couldn't add it sooner enough. After watching Kingdom, i've learned to not underestimate CG anime, first few eps was not great and the CG was so bad that i almost dropped it several times, but after finishing the whole show, here it is on my favorites list. No matter how bad the CG i'm willing to give Sazoku a chance, i actually only got interested in it because i heard Ghibli was involved but it seems they're not the main producers further dropping my expectation of the show, i hope it does get subbed soon or i'll just check out the raw instead.

Yeah, i really enjoyed Shigatsu, characters seemed to gel well enough for me. There was a slight drop in quality in Psycho-pass but it wasn't too much, still yet to find out the reason as to why I.G dropped this, i don't even think they're doing anything this season. The writing too wasn't the best but i lowered my expectations a long time ago so i found it okay enough to pick up.

I think i've now picked up most of what i'm going to watch this season, FSN and Sanzoku Ronja i plan to pick up no matter what, unless Ronja turns out to be inexplicably boring. The only others left are Girlfriend (Kari), Twintails and Yuuki Yuuna, i'll find space for Girlfriend if it turns out to be good, Twintails doesn't sound like something that i'll enjoy, while Yuuna starts airing too late that i don't think i'd bother checking it out. The only problem for me now is Yowapeda II, it had a really underwhelming first ep, if the 2nd ep is as bad i'll drop it and replace it with either Vanadis or Trinity Seven...sigh, so much hard decisions to make.

Yeah, i just saw parasyte, good ep, already picked it up, yet to watch Shigatsu though. I'm currently out of school as i'm waiting to graduate and that won't happen till probably February, i actually have enough time to pick up to 30 shows in a season but i decided to also give some time to older anime, so i divided my time into two (almost equal) parts. I only watch anime early in the mornings or late at night, around 5 hours a day in total so i'm able to cover a decent amount of content.
