AS FAR as I can remember, I've always been watching anime as a kid. I even remember watching some episodes of Rurouni Kenshin on TV when I was about four or five years old, and laughing my ass off at Great Teacher Onizuka on Animax when I was in 5th grade. I even started watching my first hentai anime after I finished grade school (TMI, I know).
Unfortunately, I lost my interest to anime as soon as I entered high school. I still don't know how I lost my interest to anime back then, and I sure missed out a lot of good anime released during those four years of my life (five, if you include my first year in college).
What made me regain my love for anime? It is the sheer awe and excitement that I felt when I got invited by some of my friends to go to an anime convention during my second year in college.
The rest is history, as I have watched a lot of anime, both famous and obscure, despite my school life which is composed of nothing but tests, club duties and loads of studying (as I'm majoring in accounting).
