I guess so, but I just wouldn't feel right if I don't watch naruto first instead of shippuden. Besides, I don't think I remember much of the characters.
Clannad is sentimental but so far I haven't cried yet. Is it really emotional only towards the end?

All they do is talk about anime and watch some anime. When we do watch anime though, we don't watch it from episode to the next episode. We watch what we have or could get at the time =/ I really wish they would expand with their activities. I don't know if it is like this in every other school. But in my experience, this is what happened. In America, anime is widely known.
Yeah, there are a lot of anime fans here. I recently got my best friend into anime, though she doesn't watch it all the time. But i know my schools (both middle, high, and college) used to have anime clubs. I havent been part of them before though.

Maria Holic was ok. I only watched it for the comedy other than that, it didn't interest as me much =/
I am planning on watching hayate the combat butler during summer vacation which is coming up soon (yay!)
I have watched baka to test! It's funny. The story isn't smooth like you said, but it's funny lol

haha baka test is really hilarious. I liked the second season way more than the first, it was really enjoyable :)
