Heya, it's been a while since I last watched it. But as I recall, it starts off relatively episodic to introduce the characters and build their dynamics, and then something major happens midway through the series and the plot carries on from there till the end.
I don't understand very well how this works. Is my review considered preliminary because I only watched 3 episodes? If this is so, then I see no point in deceiving anyone. What does the “Preliminary” die actually affect?
lol there were some parts of the anime that I liked. A ton of people were defending the concerning parts and just ignoring the show's messages though, so I tried to focus on that in the review
You can rate an anime as low as possible. But, I'd prefer to tell people that, "this kind of anime is not really for me. But if you would like, you should give it a try." Let's review it also based on the story, animation, sounds, and characters. Which are the criteria that were given my MAL.
But that doesn't make an objective review useless. An objective review is possible if you would look from a different perspective. If I can make an objective review, you can also.
I truly appreciate your opinion. However, it does make sense. Yes, I agree, we do have our own ideas and expectations in an anime. But reviewing it based on our tastes would make it too subjective and it may sabotage an anime because of that review. Since we people have different tastes, maybe this person likes/would like that anime and that person does not/will not. That's why it's important to make a review that is somehow objective. Think of other people as well, reviewing an anime and saying, 'it's a trash' is like making other people think of it as trash as well. It may affect others instead of letting them try, maybe they would love it.
Infinite Dendrogram itself isn't really hated, only the adaptation is and honestly I mostly agree with the hate.
ID anime was a huge disappointment for me, while Bofuri anime improved on the original material with a better pacing and added visual comedy.
I'm really not surprised by how the 2 adaptations are ranked, even when ID LN is superior to Bofuri LN.
Yeah I was just NOT vibing with that show. It was so boring for me and like, I GOT it, it wasn't a matter of me not understanding. It was just boring imo
