We are entering the middle part of the season and at the Anime Guild our main specialization is being a Seasonal Club.
We choose the best Opening, Ending, Character and of course Anime of the Season with also a Review Section and a Power Ranking Group

Ripple's is in episode 1 or 2 and we see Swim Swim in a dream in episode 2 and her sleeping in her human form after Ruler dies.

Therefore by your logic, since we have seen Swim Swim and Ripple's human forms, they also don't follow the rule.

Nemu and La Pucelle never got their backstory in the same episode they died. It's not a rule if there are only 2 actual examples of it.

"you don't know anyone's backstory. until they die"

We know Snow White, Sister Nana, Winterprison's backstories (and Ripple to an extent) and they're not dead. We knew LaPucelle's backstory long before he actually died. I can only count 2 characters where we got their backstory in the same episode they died.
