Ping pong was the best anime of 2014 but that was only said by a couple of people since it was not popular.
One outs wasn't popular either but it was a fun watch.
Major is more known since its a long shounen

Seems like you like sports series. I can recommend some.

Ashita no joe and Ping pong are imo the best sports anime. Ashita no joe is one of the first shounen, manga that came out in 1968. Ping pong is a 11 episode but its very character driven. I gave both a 10/10

Slam dunk and Major are great shounen series. The slam dunk manga is better than the anime.

One outs is a peculiar one. its technically a gambling series but by using baseball

Diamond no ace act 2 is spectacular. way better than 2 anime seasons content wise. Sawamura is the best character!
