Oh, I see. Those are great novels, though. I especially love Orwell. Have you read Fahrenheit 451? Dystopian novels are the best as they explore the worst case scenario and make us question things we take for granted :>

it's cool to read books related to it! I enjoy historical anime as well ^^
I know, right? I love it! ^^ Especially the Jazz Age & Harlem Renaissance. Quite fun to read about all of them actually. Yeah, I read it. It's one of my favorites. Have you ever read James Baldwin? His essays are quite insightful as well and can count as history, somehow :P
Well, actually my main interest is literature. Psychology and history are sub-areas that support it ^^ Mostly, I get familiar with a certain country's history through fiction first and then search about it.
Based on the novels I read, it is mostly American history with a special emphasis on African American history.
