You said there was a tsundere female lead in Alderamin, but I can't imagine that you mean Yatori. She definitely does not act like a tsundere, though she does fill the slot of "badass female lead". Did you mean someone else?
Greetings theadrin, I am currently looking for individuals that posted half-way reviews on currently airing shows.
At the Anime Guild we are trying to create a review community within the club and thought it might be something the peaks your interest to be apart of.
Here is a link to the Review Thread - http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1478090
We also do other seasonal features like we choose the best Opening, Ending, Character and of course Anime of the Season.
If you are interested in joining I have sent you an invite as well as provide a link to the club page ^.^ - http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=63899
I'm really glad that you took my criticism in a positive way!
I may have been a bit too harsh at some points but I believe that if people want to be better at something they need to be criticized in order for them to truly get better like e.g. you as a reviewer.
Our opinions about that particular show differ but let's agree to disagree, haha. In the end different people with different tastes and opinions make discussions interesting.
Regarding the scoring: I do agree with that and (I don't really know if you only completed 7 shows or not) when I was starting with anime I also rated way more lenient than today. That's just something that comes with time and experience.
I'm sorry to say that but your "review" failed in multiple ways (no hate). I mean, of course there is nothing wrong with liking something even if it is hated or if it isn't that good but it's important to acknowledge the fact that subjectively liking something doesn't make that thing good (e.g. trash movies can be hilarious for you but a total piece of crap for somebody else and most of the time the reason would be that it is, in fact, trash). Regarding Danmachi I agree with your points that it was entertaining at parts but the overall product wasn't of any "good" quality. The main character was generic and bland, most of the female cast was one-dimensional and I won't even start about the ending which is a typical case of "go read the source material". Again nothing wrong with you liking that or finding entertainment in it but you shouldn't generalize from your own entertainment but maybe try to understand why the top reviews are mainly negative about Danmachi. I mean some parts of your review even sound like it is a 5/10 (which is average) and I think the majority of the non-casual to elitist watchers would agree with a score ranging from 3-5.
