I love watching Slice of life , Psychological and thriller anime. But i definitely dont mind the occasional shounen , comedy or romance genre.I generally prefer to watch anime that isn't considered mainstream..
Like most Otakus i wish to visit Japan atleast once.
My love for anime is only matched by my love for Man Utd.
I'm a huge music nerd. And ofcourse roughly 30% of my playlist is Japanese music (not just op & ending songs)
I am into photography
And i have a weird sense of humor which is the end result of watching too much Chandler Bing

It's great wordplay. Kashi means sweets, loan, turned into, and lyrics.
It's not specified which kanji are used l, because it's written in kana, so it's up to people how they interpret it.
And btw, if you are watching it dubbed, then you are missing original voice actors which are flawless, and you have rewritten and americanized whole script. It sucks even more than terrible voice acting.
The only worth translation for this show is that one from Mori. All other translations are super shitty and you are missing many wordplays, cultural things etc.
I can't imagine watching it dubbed, it has no sense watching it dubbed...
I'm writing this because you said that you are new to anime, so you probably don't know how bad idea is watching the dubs..
