I'm really not sure why I watch anime. I got introduced to it back in the early 90s when I used to watch lousy VHS fansubs of Bubblegum Crisis and Project Aiko. Why I'm not studying, drinking, mountain biking more rather than wasting a weeked watching some blue haired, green eyed freaks in an idealized world is anyone's guess.
Mostly because it's one of the few character driven mediums that are still out there, and the fact it's animated the setting can really be adapted to the mood (if it's done right). That gives it a level of creative control that makes it somewhat unique--at least fiscally so. It hurts the brain less than reading a muthafukin' book.
With that said, I don't consider it an art form.
Sorry.

no?
Now I'm definitely sure you're cool. xD
Even if I disagree immensely, but I guess it's only natural that there's no accounting for taste.
I also see your point about being sick of the hype, I just think it's unfair to be talking so harsh about the people trying to defend Haruhi S2. If they like it or feel the need to stick to it because of S1, my, for pete's sake, let them!
Even if your review got "unhelpful" votes, and there are some weirdos who think attacking your on your profile is "payback", you sure are free to voice your opinion on Haruhi - and that in a not very careful way. =p I just think that when you can write about it, fans can also defend it...
So no need to bash on that.
However, have a good day, hope this didn't offend you as it is not supposed to. =)
