I notice that a big portion of anime community reads the manga which anime adaptation is coming soon and there is huge hype around it like Chainsaw Man and Blue Lock are two recent examples, I personally like reading more than watching an anime, I'm trying the recommendations on the thread in their respective order, so, it'll take a good amount of time before I come to anything recommend by you but I can assure you I'll give them a shot, currently reading Holyland which seems pretty decent to me in regard to art, characters and story, less than 30 pgs per chapter.

I watched masquerade night and masquerade hotel recently.. both are movies...

And a movie named tantei Monogatari, it's funny and basically nympho ex wife of a ex police detective vs yakuzas

Karakurizoushi Ayatsuri Sakon is the closest to kindaichi in terms of the atmosphere of the stories.. i think...plus you can read gosick ...

hey. I've been in a massive drag about finding anime to watch for like almost a year now, and i just randomly saw Uramichi in my recent friends updates, liked how it looked and decided to try it out and i loved the first episode. Then i read back on our chat and stalked your favorites and list for a bit and it seems like we have pretty similar tastes. Would you happen to have any good recs in a similar line to Nozaki-kun and Uramichi? or just other good anime you like and i havent watched. Thanks in advance =)

huh. that title is quite literal then, i don't think i've ever heard of a demon lawyer as a concept before. in an informal presentation, such as demons proclaiming judgement onto others but not in a court setting. is it in a court setting, with judges? i guess i'd probably not read it anyways though, any shounen that is solely all about fighting and nothing else can get mind numbing. right, not just how it ends for me but basically the whole story. after reading your comment, i actually went to youtube to search up a few clips of 07 ghost and i was surprised at myself at how novel these scenes were - i had absolutely no idea of what was going on. what i remember from the manga were only small details, like green eyes being rare in that world, the female character that popped up from time to time (can't remember the name) who owned the eye of raphael, the eye of mikhail, and teito's mother. also didn't like the two blondes.

wow. it's a series of 5 novels? what? so the first novel was the da vinci code, which is not a standalone novel as i thought... but the first in five. that's crazy. what is the third movie adaptation called? i don't mind that it's not all true, historical fiction is often more enjoyable of a ride to me due to the creative liberties. indeed, i'm very interested on popes and the vatican city. in real life, visiting europe to see old chapels, churches, any type of gathering, popes, saints, nuns, you name it is one of my dreams. heck, i wouldn't even mind living in europe for the architecture alone. i will watch it and tell you my opinion, luckily, both movies are available on netflix which is a great plus. (i won't have to go on a pirating voyage, lol)

i see. is defense devil any good? i didn't read the synopsis, just looked at pictures of it. seems like there's crosses and religious imagery in the clothing designs, but didn't seem to be heavy in that department. didn't like noragami, ao no exorcist, and got bored of monster, but 07 ghost is definitely one of my favorites. funny, because it still feels like a hole in my memory despite having finished both the anime and manga. nah, i've never heard of that until now actually. but wow, the promotion cover for the movie really piques my interest:



hope i even entered in that coding right, oops if not. it's one of the best posters i've seen of a movie before... and it also says the book (i assume) was written by the one who wrote the "the da vinci code", which i remember my brother having a copy of on his dresser that i observed in curiosity a long time ago. there was quite a lot of religion in that novel as well. i should probably watch both movies (haha).
