my average score is high because i don't go out of my way to watch/read things i think i won't like and typically drop it within the first episode / first few chapters if i don't like them

Rating System:
1: offensively horrendous, vomit-inducing
2: awful (no redeeming aspects)
3: very bad (few redeeming aspects)
4: bad (some redeeming aspects)
5: average (not "bad" per-se, may even have some good things about it, but does nothing to seperate itself from the sea of mediocrity)
6: decent (several aspects of the story are good, but is held back by either being boring, generic, having one extreme flaw or having several large flaws)
7: good (either generally good but lacks a WOW factor that puts it above the rest, or generally great but it's MC is a pedo or something along those lines)
8: great (has some flaws but is definitely a cut above the rest, i would recommend it to anyone who likes that genre)
9: amazing (extremely good, likely does most things exceptionally well and doesn't do anything poorly [or does the rest so exceptionally that it outweighs it], would recommend it to anyone period)
10: masterpiece. must read/watch.
