Hi, I’m Ashley—though many know me as Tako! I’m based in the U.S. and have been a passionate fan of anime and manga since 2002. What started as a curiosity quickly became a lifelong love. From sparkly Magical Girl series to the rich storytelling of Historical Romance, I find beauty and meaning in every genre, no matter the era.

Anime and manga have always been more than just entertainment for me—they’re a source of comfort, inspiration, and self-expression. Whether it’s the nostalgia of childhood favorites or the discovery of new stories that move me, this medium continues to be a constant in my life. Some of my all-time favorite series include Fullmetal Alchemist, Cardcaptor Sakura, Gundam, The Apothecary Diaries, My Happy Marriage, and Fruits Basket—each one holding a special place in my heart for its characters, themes, and emotional depth.
