Hello there! I'm just your ordinary student who has obsession in anime. Currently, I'm on my last year of my study. I'm afraid I won't have much time to watch anime, or being active in MAL. Does anyone ever feel the same? You love anime so much, that it makes you afraid to lose interest in it?
I'm looking for a friend or someone who might share the same passion as I do

Can't believe this was written almost 7 years ago, currently I am studying my post graduate overseas. I will be happy to talk about anime/ anything study related XD

Well we both joined the website in the same year, the difference is you've spent that time becoming a doctoral student and I've just been over year leading a anime club. One of these things is more important than the other right?(Clearly the anime club =p). But no, if your looking to make new friends on your grand return to being active on website than getting active again in clubs is a good way to do that. I have given you an invite to mine if it sends or not.
Accepted your friend request. You seem nice. Feel free to shoot me a message, or I will :D
I can relate because I created my account 5 years ago but left right after, with blank profile. Returned to MAL 3 days ago.
The Neighbours Club is back!
Anyways, hows it hanging?
It's perfectly acceptable to be passionate and fervid, in fact I believe it's crucial.
Just make sure to avoid being histrionic and biased in the process, excessive sentimental ranting simply disrupts as well as deprives the review of the objective quality that it could consist of.
One frankly cannot ignore that there are indeed universally accepted as well as established facts pertaining to the fundamental quality of a particular anime.
A true competent critic and reviewer needs to accurately balance between his own impressions in addition to well established facts that can't be altered.
Thanks once again for taking the time to respond to my comments, much appreciated.
Don't expect much till June but by then I should be nearly finished with at least one of them.
Guess a portion of my anonymous followers chose to actually speak up and reveal them selves, and I'm certainly grateful of course.
I was literally driven and inspired to create reviews in the first place because an overwhelming quantity of reviewers lacked (in my opinion) proper insight and perception.
Though I must say there are indeed some very impressive and incredible reviewers out there who are far superior to me.
In addition I'm not currently, nor have I ever as of yet undertaken any type of extensive literature studies, though I'm taking serious consideration towards it since I truly love writing.
I'm just a commonplace pedestrian that happens to possess a knack for it with proper intuition as well.
By the way, I have 3 forthcoming reviews being planned, not sure which order I will release them in though, the anime include fate/stay, serial experiments lain, and one of the Fullmetal Alchemist adaptations.
Ya. I had to help out my mom at the store during final week til now.
I know what you mean about losing your interest after high school. I didnt, though I have less time to read but thats mainly cause I focused on reading manga instead. DOnt worry about it unless you're aiming for a demanding major in college.
OH YOU JOINED ON MY BDAY THIS YEAR. AHAHA :D
By the way I have a new review I just completed, if you have the time please tell me your impressions of it, I don't often get comments on them and I'd be nice to get one once in a while, thanks.
I'm perfectly fine with spoilers, since I imagine that watching the sequel first will give me a better understanding and feel more connected to the overall plot and characters in the beginning of Zero that way.
Besides I'm the kind of person that likes leaving the best for last.
