I'm not sure what your talking about, since I don't think there's a character named Kakeru. And I haven't read any of the manga and don't plan to. About your second question, I don't know.

My problem with Re:Zero is that, looking back, it all just felt like a big farce. Like, a bunch of fantasy elements were put together that were entertaining for the time, but there isn't anything that makes me attatched to the show.

Aside from generally looking forward to a new season, I'm excited for Keijo lol

Also, photophobia? I bet that's a pain when you like to watch anime, but it of course translates to movies/tv. Does that leave any kind of overtime damage to your eyes or anything?

What I'm hoping for is some kind of explanation for his transportation to this fantasy world, as well as his power, but I'm starting to doubt if we'll ever get that.
